Every single one was impressive and instructive,” he added.

About PureBond Technology

Columbia’s formaldehyde-free PureBond® technology was a major breakthrough in the engineered wood panel market. Developed by Columbia Forest Products in conjunction with scientists at Oregon State University, the first PureBond hardwood plywood panels were produced in 2005. Since then, more than 50 million have been shipped.

PureBond formaldehyde-free technology continues to be a market differentiator for woodshops that cater to a health-conscious clientele. Over 850 fabricators have joined the PureBond Fabricator Network to identify themselves as leading-edge suppliers who are thoughtful about the materials they use and the concern customers have with good indoor air quality and home resale value.

The PureBond Quality Awards competition will be held again in 2015. “We are very pleased with the participation among the members of the PureBond Fabricators Network, and hope for even more entries next year,” Vogelsinger stated.

PureBond, hardwood plywood, plywood, plywood panelsI’ve been so busy this Summer that it’s taken me a bit to get to this wonderful project, a Children’s Sensory Board by DIYer and blogger extraordinaire, Gina, a.k.a Lady Goats!! We love the idea that Gina made this project especially for a friend that had opened an in-home daycare business and was looking to outfit the space with some appropriate and safe, child friendly items. Art by Caprice Pierucci

Check out this awesome find courtesy of Columbia Forest Products’ (the manufacturers of PureBond hardwood plywood), very own Linda Sitz, an Inside Sales Representative who works out of our Trumann, Arkansas facility. These fabulous pieces of art are the creation of artist using Columbia Forest Products PureBond hardwood plywood panels. Per the artists’ website  ”The work reflects her background in fibers. The forms are mostly linear and use progressive rhythm to create movement and shadow. Her most recent work deals with the idea of forms developing over time. The layers and undulating rhythms in the forms speak of mortality and the huge expanses of time that lead to one particular moment of beauty.”

It’s great to see our PureBond products in finished form! for more on the artist and available works, click here.
