PureBond Work Bench

PureBond, hardwood plywoodThis might be the prettiest work bench we have ever seen…not that we are bias or anything like that, but it is made out of our formaldehyde-free PureBond hardwood plywood and we think our panels are beautiful! This fabulous work bench happens to be the creation of Jen Woodhouse of The House of Wood blog (see Jen on photo below) and she has again done a fabulous job on a DIY project! Gearing-up for Haven 2015

haven-button-250We’ve all been quite busy here this week at PureBond headquarters, packing away all the swag, like some totally cool, quilted, silver, bags that are to die for, that we’re taking to Haven again this year, not to mention other bits and pieces of swag, a $200 Visa Gift Card give-a-way, product information and much more, that we have to give away to those that stop by to say “Hi” at our booth! However, new for us this year will be a breakfast sponsorship we are doing with Home Depot (they sell PureBond hardwood ya know) where they are planning on having an interactive, take-away, something (we don’t know what yet) made from PureBond hardwood plywood at the breakfast, so keep an eye out for that as well! In addition, as a Haven first, PureBond will be supplying wood panels to Kreg Tools, so stop by their booth and check that out as well!

And for those you who are now totally confused about “What Haven is?”, here is the scoop…Haven is a DIY/decorating professional blogging conference which takes place July 16-18, 2015 in Atlanta, GA. The conference brings 400 pro-bloggers together with over 100 sponsor representatives for a 3 day event. Sessions focus on improving skills in blogging, decorating, home improvement, photography, writing, social media, brand relationships, book writing, and more! Our conference began in 2012 and each year attracts the most notable DIY/Home bloggers in the blogosphere. How cool is all that? We can’t wait to see everyone in a couple of weeks!

PureBond Writing Desk

ehlers-ironing-boardAnother great DIY build by Jen Woodhouse of The House of Wood blog! This newest creation of Jen was made for some of her friends (have we said lately that ehlers-desk-styled01we want to be one of her lucky friends?) who desperately needed a desk, as evidenced by the ironing board to the right that they were using! The project was made with our formaldehyde-free PureBond hardwood plywood using Ehler desk plans, specialty legs ehlers-desk-painted02and from what Jen says some hardware that almost drove her to drink :) For the complete how-to on this project, click here!

Ballard Designs Inspired Dresser

emily-dresser-done-03wmWe said this in an earlier post but, why don’t we have friends who make us fabulous furniture like Jen Woodhouse from The House of Wood DIY and lifestyle blog? Now we’re saying it again with this right on time Ballard Designs inspired dresser that she created from scratch using our formaldehyde-free PureBond hardwood plywood that she purchased at her local Home Depot (you can also purchase PureBond online at Home Depot). The dresser was created to go with the matching nightstands from an earlier build that Jen did for her emily-nightstand-scrollsawfriend Emily (yep, the friend that we currently envying)!  We think the dresser and earlier nightstands are pretty much perfection and hope to see more creations from Jen in the near future :) Click here for the complete how-to with free plans!
